Laura Mercier Glow Setting Powder

If you look up what the best setting powders are, the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is ALWAYS on the list. And it should be! I don’t know what sort of secret magical dust they put inside of it, but it glides on the skin flawlessly, makes pores disappear, doesn’t leave you looking cakey, and lasts. all. day.

So when I received the Glow Setting Powder, I was pretty excited. I am all about looking fresh and dewey. It allows me to not feel so bad when my face starts to look all sweaty in the Florida sun because I can just blame it on the glow!

So here is my quick review of this new powder!

Do not use this under the eyes. It does have glitter in it and it just looks funny when you try to set your under eye concealer with it. But on the rest of your face, it’s absolutely stunning!! Literally, it just blurs your skin and leaves you looking a radiant angel sent from above. It doesn’t feel like you have anything on your face. The craziest part is that it doesn’t give you any flashback! There are little glitters in it, but when photographed, you don’t look like Edward Cullen in the sunlight. The only other thing is that even though it’s labeled as “Translucent” it definitely is not. There is a little bit of a rosy color to it which is probably why they launched a second shade in “Translucent - Medium Deep.”

It’s a great overall face setting powder if you are looking for something that will give you a glow! Especially as these fall/winter months come rolling in, it will be nice to look like I’ve still got that bright summer sun shining down on me.
