I was lucky enough to get sent two colors of the new Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon from Influenster complimentary for testing purposes. It comes in 10 different shades and retails for $26. It claims to have a "lightweight liquid sensation" that lasts for 16 hours.

The two shades I received were SEND NUDES 300 (a brownish nude) and FRAM-BOIS 350 (an intense raspberry).

When I received SEND NUDES the product had actually fallen out of the packaging so I had to push it back in which messed up the shape. That's when I first realized how soft the crayon actually is! It makes is really smooth and easy to slide on. You really don't need to apply any pressure and you still get a very impressive pigment. The down side to that is that you have to either be extremely careful when outlining your lips or just use a lipliner. The crayon is pretty large so it can be hard to get the corners looking clean and not getting it to smudge outside of the line.

When I first put it on, I was convinced there was no way that is was going to last 16 hours. It felt so moussey on my lips and was slipping around. It took a full five minutes for it to dry down matte. Once it did, the texture felt completely different! It definitely dried down but I wouldn't say that it was drying. When I did the kiss on the back of my hand test (let's be real...we all do it), the only part that transferred was the portion closest to the inside of my mouth.

As long as you are not eating anything too oily, it does not come off while you are eating. It is extremely long lasting and the only time I touched up was after I ate. And it wasn't even a reapplication, it was just fixing the small spots that had rubbed off.

When it's time to take it off...IT DOESN'T STAIN YOUR LIPS! Nothing sucks more than your lips being stained hot pink for the next three days because you wore a matte liquid lip. I was able to take it off with just one swipe of a cotton swab and micellar water.

So...would I recommend this? If you are someone who just wants something to throw on and not think about for the rest of the day then yes! But definitely use a liner because it will make the edges look a lot cleaner.
